Different Strategies for Roulette
Roulette is probably the most popular casino game around and that is down, undoubtedly, to its simplicity. The premise of the game is very easy to understand. You simply bet on if the roulette ball falls on a red, a black, or a number. Surely there is no strategy to actually win on roulette, right? Well, of course it is a form of gambling and there is no sure fire way to win, but there are strategies you can try to maximise your chances of winning.
One strategy is the Martingale Betting System. The premise of this strategy is as simple as roulette. If you win, you bet the same amount than you just bet. If you lose, you double the amount. The idea is that if you double your stake every time you lose, then eventually you’ll make a profit. This is of course a very risky strategy and it may not be for everyone. If you’re not sure about this strategy, you could try the Reverse Martingale Betting System. The premise for this strategy is what you would probably expect. If you lose, you bet the same amount. If you win, you bet twice the amount. This may be preferable for people who are less risk adverse because you’re taking smaller risks. You can potentially still win big though if lady luck is shining on you.
Another strategy is the D’Alembert system. With this strategy, you start off with a bet and decide on your stake, like you would normally. If it loses, you increase your stake by one. If it wins, you decrease your stake by one. This is also very low risk and requires only a low bankroll. As with the Martingale, there is also a reverse strategy for the D’Alembert. This is more risky, as you would be relying to get more wins than losses for the strategy to be successful.
